One-to-One Guidance Sessions Agreement
This Agreement is between Inspiration for Life Inc., Michele Francesca Cohen ("Inspiration for Life, Inc.”, Michele Francesca Cohen," "we," "us," or "Provider") and the individual purchasing or participating in a Guidance Session ("Participant" or "you"). Guidance Sessions are provided through Inspiration for Life Inc. by Michele Francesca Cohen.
The Nature of Our Sessions
Inspiration for Life Guidance Sessions are designed to support personal growth, emotional well-being, spiritual exploration, self-awareness, and authentic living.
Sessions may include thoughtful conversation, reflective questions, practical guidance, contemplative practices, spiritual perspectives, and encouragement tailored to your individual circumstances.
Each session is collaborative. Rather than providing predetermined answers, my role is to create a space where insight, wisdom, and greater clarity can emerge.
What Guidance Sessions Are — and Are Not
Guidance Sessions are educational, spiritual, and supportive in nature.
They are not psychotherapy, psychology, psychiatry, counseling, clinical mental health treatment, medical care, or crisis intervention.
Inspiration for Life Inc., Michele Francesca Cohen does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions or mental health disorders.
Nothing shared during a session should be considered medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, investment, accounting, or other licensed professional advice.
If you are experiencing significant psychological distress, thoughts of self-harm, addiction requiring treatment, domestic violence, or a medical or psychiatric emergency, please seek appropriate licensed or emergency services immediately.
Guidance Sessions are intended to complement—not replace—the care of qualified healthcare professionals and licensed practitioners.
Participants of Inspiration for Life Guidance Sessions must be 18 years of age or older.
Personal Responsibility
Participation of Participant is entirely voluntary. You remain solely responsible for your own physical health, emotional well-being, spiritual choices, relationships, finances, career decisions, and life decisions. While our conversations may explore possibilities and perspectives, all decisions and actions remain your own responsibility. No specific outcome or result can be guaranteed.
Confidentiality
Inspiration for Life Inc., Michele Francesca Cohen treats information shared during Guidance Sessions as private and confidential as a matter of professional practice and respect. However, Guidance Sessions do not create a psychotherapist-patient, counselor-client, attorney-client, clergy-penitent, or other legally privileged relationship, and confidentiality may be subject to exceptions or disclosure requirements under applicable law.
Information shared during our sessions will be kept confidential except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a reasonable belief that disclosure is necessary to protect you or another person from imminent harm.
Because sessions are conducted electronically, absolute confidentiality of internet communications cannot be guaranteed, although reasonable steps are taken to use secure platforms.
Scheduling, Payment & Cancellations
Sessions are scheduled through Cal.com and conducted remotely via Zoom.
Payment is required at the time of booking unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Refund Policy
Because your session time is reserved exclusively for you, all payments are non-refundable.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice, and I will gladly work with you to find another available time. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are generally not eligible for rescheduling or refund, except in the case of unforeseen emergencies at my sole discretion.
If I am unable to provide your session for any reason, you may choose either a full refund or a rescheduled appointment.
Technology
Sessions are conducted online using Zoom. Please ensure you have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, private environment where you feel comfortable speaking openly. If technical difficulties interrupt a session, every reasonable effort will be made to reconnect and complete our scheduled time. Sessions may not be recorded by either party without the prior knowledge and written consent of both participants.
Intellectual Property
All written materials, exercises, resources, recordings, handouts, and other content provided through Inspiration for Life Inc., Michele Francesca Cohen remain the intellectual property of Inspiration for Life Inc., Michele Cohen unless otherwise stated.
These materials are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, published, or shared commercially without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
By participating in Inspiration for Life Guidance Sessions, you acknowledge that you understand the nature of these sessions and voluntarily accept full responsibility for your own participation and any decisions or actions arising from our conversations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inspiration for Life Inc., Michele Francesca Cohen shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in Guidance Sessions or the use of any materials or information provided.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. If a legal dispute arises that cannot first be resolved through respectful communication between us, both parties agree that any legal action relating to this Agreement or the services provided through Inspiration for Life Inc., Michele Francesca Cohen shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Denton County, in the State of Texas.
Force Majeure - Events Beyond Our Control
Occasionally, circumstances beyond either person's reasonable control may affect our ability to meet as planned. These may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, widespread power or internet outages, illness, government actions, emergencies, or other unforeseen events. If such circumstances prevent a scheduled session from taking place, neither party shall be considered in breach of this Agreement. Provider and Participant will simply make every reasonable effort to reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
No Guarantees
Every individual and every journey is unique. While Inspiration for Life Guidance Sessions are intended to provide thoughtful support, encouragement, practical wisdom, and opportunities for personal growth, no specific results or outcomes can be guaranteed. Any changes that occur in your life depend upon many factors, including your own choices, circumstances, commitment, and actions outside of our sessions.
Respect for Individual Beliefs
Inspiration for Life Inc., Michele Francesca Cohen welcomes people from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and spiritual traditions. While our conversations may include spiritual reflection and perspectives consistent with the vision and values of Inspiration for Life, every participant remains free to accept, decline, or interpret those perspectives according to their own conscience and personal beliefs. Participation is always voluntary, and no particular belief system is required.
Mutual Respect
Meaningful conversations flourish in an atmosphere of kindness, honesty, and mutual respect. Inspiration for Life Inc., Michele Francesca Cohen asks that Participant and Provider approach their time together with openness, courtesy, and a willingness to engage thoughtfully with one another. If, at any time, Provider believes our work together is no longer beneficial or appropriate, Provider reserve the right to decline or discontinue future sessions. Likewise, you are free to discontinue sessions at any time.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning Inspiration for Life Guidance Sessions and supersedes any prior discussions, communications, representations, or understandings concerning those services. No modification or waiver of this Agreement will be effective unless made in writing and agreed to by the parties.
By scheduling and paying for an Inspiration for Life Guidance Session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
