Build The House

Something we can do together to effect lasting change in this season is to connect with Holy Spirit in our inner man and hold a powerful world-transforming intention in partnership with God in the prayerful Spirit of unity. I say “hold an intention” because, as Jesus teaches, agreement is powerful. (Matthew 18:19) We may not all be able to say the same words at the same time, but we can each hold a similar/singular godly intention in our mind's eye ("opthalmos" in Greek) so that the whole house and Body might be filled with Light. (Matthew 6:22)

Agreement is unlikely if we are all requesting something different of God, or if we’re approaching a time of supplication from an us/them divisive paradigm. But the power of the unified Body working together is greater than the individual parts. And today is a day of building (4-4-2020). What do you want to build? What does the Body want to build together? What does the Father want the Body to build together? Ephesians 2:22 and 4:16 indicates that God’s heart and intention is for us to be joined and fitted together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (That right there is the whole point of Church.) Perhaps your answer is also for the Kingdom of God to be established (Matthew 6:10), a Kingdom in which God’s will is done and there is no end to the increase of His government and peace. (Isaiah 9:7). With these two scriptural blueprints in mind, I suggest then that we get down to the bones of what both really mean, so that we might have clarity and, therefore, agreement in our intentional, unified supplications to the Father.

Romans 14:17 says the Kingdom of God is righteousness (rightness, honesty, integrity, right alignment, uprightness), peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. The greatest commandments and all the law and prophets are wrapped up in unadulterated love (with no other gods standing in the way) - Love for the Unfathomable, Unnameable, Life Force, and Creator of the Universe (revealed in Jesus Christ) and love for neighbor and self. Bringing this down to the lowest common denominators for agreement, I suggest we connect in a heartfelt prayerful way to request, receive and activate:

1. LIGHT (for revelation light to arise and dawn, for dark agendas to be exposed, and Truth established).
2. LOVE (which prevails and sustains everything, for it is the Essence of God.)
3. HEALTH (wholistic/holystic from the Root of Life, not a man-made counterfeit.)
4. FREEDOM (for it is for freedom (personal autonomy and liberty) that Christ has already set us free, and we are to stand fast in what we’ve been given).
5. HOME (for all to "come to themselves" - their identity as the Father's offspring), for all the Earth's people to find their security in Him and in His House and Presence.

As we intentionally connect in contemplative prayer for the realization of these 4 elements of abundant kingdom life, we can experience powerful agreement for God’s kingdom to come and will to be done on earth as it IS in heaven. We will notice that few words are needed and a physical location is not required for our prayers. Spirit-led Heart focus and connection will be the key that unlocks the door to Heaven (at hand) revelation and manifestation. We’ve been carrying the combination codes to the treasure safe for a long time now. Let’s use this opportunity to unify and use them.
